Sr. Product Manager (AI & Beauty)

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the AI Beauty Chat team at Sephora. This person will help build and improve an AI-powered conversational shopping experience that helps customers discover products, navigate Sephora’s beauty catalog, and receive relevant product guidance.

This is a hands-on individual contributor Product Manager role working closely with Data Science and Engineering. The PM will own product initiatives, translate customer and business needs into requirements, prioritize features, and evaluate how effectively the AI experience is serving customers.

A major focus of the role is Generative AI/LLMs and AI evaluations (evals). This person should understand how to evaluate the accuracy and quality of LLM responses and help determine whether the AI experience is performing as intended.

Skills and Requirements

• Senior-level Product Management experience owning consumer-facing digital products.
• Strong consumer product management background, including customer experience, adoption, product strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization.
• Hands-on experience working with Generative AI and LLM-powered products.
• Retail or eCommerce experience, especially within beauty, fashion, grocery, or another consumer-facing industry.
• Beauty industry experience or strong knowledge of beauty products and the beauty consumer.
• Experience with AI/LLM evaluations (evals) and ability to clearly explain how evals determine whether an AI system is producing accurate/high-quality responses.
• Experience partnering directly with Software Engineering and Data Science teams.
• Ability to translate customer needs and technical AI concepts into clear product requirements and priorities.
• Strong communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience independently owning product initiatives as an individual contributor.
