Full job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role: Crusoe's Managed AI Services portfolio launched in late 2025 and is scaling fast: We have already secured triple-digit $M ARR commitments from customers. The portfolio spans Managed Inference (Serverless, Self-Deployed and Tailored Deployment), Serverless Fine Tuning, with Serverless Reinforcement Learning and Agent Sandbox GA landing in H2 2026. As VP of Product Management, you will own the vision, strategy, execution and roadmap for this business, reporting to the SVP of Product Management and partnering directly with the VP Engineering for Managed AI Services. You will lead the portfolio as a business and via strong cross-functional partnerships, anchored in the rise of open models and Crusoe's vertically integrated cloud strategy from electrons to tokens.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Define the long-term vision, strategy and roadmap for the Managed AI Services portfolio, aligned to customer needs, company goals, market trends and GTM strategy

  • Build, lead and mentor a team of product managers, owning their performance and development

  • Partner with engineering, technical program management, product partnerships, marketing, customer success and sales to define requirements, prioritize features and drive the lifecycle from concept through launch and adoption at scale

  • Own the business metrics for the portfolio, including usage, reliability and production KPIs, pipeline, revenue, gross margin and customer satisfaction, and use that data to drive decisions

  • Shape go-to-market with sales, marketing and customer success, including positioning, messaging, pricing, routes-to-market and partnerships

  • Build relationships with key customers, ecosystem partners and GTM partners, translating their feedback into product improvements and working alongside the Director of Product Partnerships on partnership and M&A opportunities

  • Track the Managed AI competitive landscape and emerging technologies to inform strategy and surface new opportunities

  • Proactively identify and resolve technical and commercial risks, infrastructure bottlenecks and scaling challenges, and manage product budgets and resources against business goals

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Proven product management track record with AI/ML services, including experience building AI managed services and scaling them from scratch

  • First-hand experience with AI managed services such as inference, tuning, reinforcement learning and agent sandboxes, along with the observability and evaluation practices that support them

  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies and trends, ideally as a builder of planet-scale cloud products at a hyperscaler, neocloud or specialized inference provider

  • Experience managing and launching technical products and features for AI-native, digital-native and enterprise customers

  • Proven experience building, leading and mentoring product management teams

  • Strategic leadership: the ability to set a clear vision, make informed decisions with incomplete information, and guide a cross-functional team toward market awareness, adoption, revenue and gross margin goals

  • Analytical rigor: comfort interpreting complex market, customer and production data to drive product strategy

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present technical concepts, connect them to business outcomes and build consensus across diverse stakeholders

  • Hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate the product management craft

Bonus Points

  • Experience leading a technical customer-facing team or operating an AI managed service from the customer or user side

  • Engineering background prior to moving into product management

  • Experience with open model ecosystems and the fine-tuning and inference optimization workflows enterprises use to adapt models to their data

  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean product management methodologies

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

  • Daily meals allowance

  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation Range Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $345,000 – $385,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
