We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support a fast-paced transportation and logistics operation. This position involves shipping and receiving, loading and unloading freight, order verification, inventory counts, and monitoring incoming and outgoing loads.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities

• Load and unload trucks and trailers

• Check in incoming merchandise

• Match purchase orders to sales orders

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions

• Move, gather, distribute, and prepare products for shipment

• Assemble products as needed

• Participate in inventory counts

• Use handheld scanners to process and track freight

• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries

• Verify loads arrive on time and in good condition

• Take check calls from drivers

• Validate load information before marking shipments as delivered

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Warehouse or dock experience preferred

• Transportation/logistics warehouse experience is a plus

• Previous loading and unloading experience

• Handheld scanner experience preferred

• Basic computer skills

• Basic written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to read and follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds

• Must be able to load and unload trucks

• Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
