POSITION:Special Education Teacher, Substitute
LOCATION:Starpoint High School
EFFECTIVE DATES:December 2026 - June 2027
QUALIFICATIONS:NYS Certification:
Students with Disabilities - 7 to 12 or
Students with Disabilities -- All Grades
DESCRIPTION:Teacher will work as part of an academic team to provide support to students with disabilities in high school classrooms.
The successful candidate will have:

Knowledge and background related to NYS learning standards

Experience with differentiating instruction for students with diverse academic challenges

The ability to meet students' social-emotional and academic needs

Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills

COMPENSATION:Step 1 Daily Rate - Per Starpoint Teachers' Association agreement with Health and Dental Insurance Coverage
