Summary
This position is located at the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) IT OFFICE, Wheeler AAF, Hawaii (Island of Oahu). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties
- Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services.
- Participates in the planning and deployment of life cycle hardware. Identifies and resolves issues and problems.
- Prepares and updates instructions and standard operating procedures. Supports and manages NIPRNET workstations, Point of Sale Systems and Hospitality Management Systems.
- Provides information and assistance to customers including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrade and troubleshooting.
- Presents formal and informal training to customers. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles and practices.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: MINIMUM QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: Work experience, education, and/or specialized intensive training sufficient to demonstrate Information Technology (IT) knowledge and skill in: 1. Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology (IT) Customer Support Services. 2. Installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components. 3. Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers 4. Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests. Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above. HIGHLY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: 1. Must possess and provide a valid CompTIA Security + Certification document. Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the Highly qualification criteria above. Education
If using education to qualify for this position, College/University transcripts must be uploaded and provided with application to receive consideration. Qualifying education is graduate education in one of the following fields of study: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, or technology management, or has provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks How You Will Be Evaluated
