Full job description

Our Mission Reflection is a research lab making intelligence open and accessible for everyone to use, customize, and build on. We build open models that let anyone control their intelligence and help shape the future of AI. Our mission: make intelligence open and accessible to all. Role Overview

You will own how the world understands Reflection's models and products. This is a founding product marketing role: you'll shape the story behind open weight model releases, open-source tools and enterprise offerings, then build the go-to-market foundation that carries it to developers, enterprises and governments. You'll work directly with researchers and engineers to turn frontier work into clear, credible narratives, and you'll decide how and where we launch. You'll set the standard for how a small, talent-dense team does product marketing at the frontier.

What You'll Do

  • Own positioning, messaging and launch strategy for model releases, open-source projects and enterprise products

  • Work with research and engineering to understand where models are headed and turn technical breakthroughs into stories developers and buyers trust

  • Build one cohesive product narrative, then adapt it for developers, enterprises, partners and sovereign customers

  • Lead launches end to end, from audience definition and market research to assets, channels and measurement

  • Grow developer and open-source communities alongside community, technical writers and design

  • Build repeatable go-to-market foundations: research, competitive analysis, launch playbooks and measurable channels

  • Hire and lead a small full-stack product marketing team, and manage agencies where they add leverage

What We're Looking For

  • A track record of launching technical products to developers, such as AI frameworks, developer platforms or open-source projects

  • Experience building product marketing from 0 to 1, ideally standing up a new function inside a larger organization or a fast-growing company

  • Hands-on execution: you're comfortable writing the messaging and building the assets yourself, not just directing others

  • Ability to craft one story that works across very different audiences, from individual developers to enterprise buyers

  • Strong research and synthesis skills: you turn customer and market insight into clear go-to-market recommendations for product and research leaders

  • Experience with co-marketing with ecosystem partnerships

What We Offer: We believe that to make intelligence open and accessible to all, you need to start at the foundation. Joining Reflection means building from the ground up as part of a talent-dense team. You will help define our future as a company, and help define the future of open foundational models. We want you to do the most impactful work of your career with the confidence that you and the people you care about most are supported.

  • Top-tier compensation: Salary and equity structured to recognize and retain our talent globally.

  • Stock options: Everyone who joins and contributes to Reflection's success gets to share in the upside through stock options.

  • Health & wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life, with an annual wellness allowance.

  • Meals: Lunch and dinner are provided in the office daily.

  • Life & family: 22 weeks paid parental leave for all new birthing and non-birthing parents, including adoptive and surrogate journeys.

  • Vacation days: Unlimited paid time off in the U.S. and 30 days in the U.K.

  • Sponsorship support: We sponsor visas to help exceptional talent join our team and support long-term immigration pathways where applicable.

  • Team building: We have regular off-sites, happy hours, and team celebrations.

Any offer of employment for this role may be conditioned on the Company's ability to provide the candidate with access to such technology or source code in compliance with applicable U.S. export control laws, which may require the Company to seek government authorization.
