Full job description

In short: one of Conduct's first marketing hires, owning field marketing. You will work hand in hand with Sales to turn trade shows, SAP events and industry events into qualified pipeline with the world's largest companies. Why Conduct The world's largest companies compete by being different, and most of that difference lives in the software they've built for themselves, which decides everything from how parcels reach your door to how food gets onto supermarket shelves. That software is a real advantage, but it's also the hardest part of the business to change safely, so good ideas often wait months or even years for the systems to catch up. Every large enterprise has a software company hiding inside it, and Conduct is building the operating system for it. We read a company's code and processes, work out what needs to change, and help the business and its systems move forward together, wherever custom software has become too complex to change safely. Fortune Global 500 companies like DHL and Daimler Truck already trust us with their most critical systems, and we've just raised a $60M Series A from Index Ventures, ICONIQ and SAP. We're a talent-dense team of about 70, growing fast across London and New York, with people from Palantir, G-Research, Legora and Sequoia. Extreme ownership, high velocity, low-ego collaboration. What you build here will shape the company and how the world's largest companies operate. About the role We're looking for someone to own field marketing as part of the founding marketing team. Our buyers are CIOs and IT leaders at the world's largest enterprises, and many of the most important conversations happen in person, at SAP events, trade shows and industry gatherings. This role builds Conduct's presence in the market and turns it into real, measurable pipeline. You will work forward-deployed with Sales, owning the programme end to end: deciding which events we attend and who goes, booking meetings before we arrive, making sure our presence on site is excellent, and following up until conversations become opportunities. You will work closely with our account executives, regional directors and founders, and with our Owned Events lead, who runs the events Conduct hosts itself. You will have real budget and a lot of autonomy, and you will build the playbook from scratch. What you'll do

  • Make Conduct impossible to miss. Build our presence at the SAP events, trade shows and industry gatherings where CIOs and IT leaders spend their time, so the right people know who we are before we reach out.

  • Generate pipeline. Plan every event with Sales around target accounts, territories and pipeline goals, and turn our presence into qualified opportunities.

  • Choose where we show up. Decide which events to attend, size our presence, and choose who from Conduct goes, balancing brand awareness with expected commercial return.

  • Fill the calendar before we arrive. Pre-book meetings for founders and account executives, and coordinate every speaker at trade shows and sales-led events, from submissions and organiser liaison to preparation and on-site logistics.

  • Equip the team. Make sure Sales has the demos, one-pagers, white papers and account-specific messaging they need, working with Product Marketing.

  • Own the experience on site. Booths, event landing pages and on-the-day execution, plus supporting dinners and side events with Owned Events.

  • Turn conversations into pipeline. Capture and qualify leads, log every conversation in our CRM with a clear owner and next step, and drive follow-up with Sales.

  • Prove what works. Track meetings, opportunities, pipeline and revenue influenced, and run a review after every event to decide what to repeat, improve or stop.

What we're looking for

  • A generalist with sharp taste and a bias to action. You've built things before, you have strong opinions on what great looks like, and you stay hands-on whatever your seniority.

  • A clear spike in field marketing, ideally in enterprise B2B software, with a track record of turning events into measurable pipeline alongside sales teams.

  • Comfort owning a budget and making clear calls on where to invest and where to say no.

  • Exceptional organisation, and the confidence to run complex events and senior speakers.

  • Genuine conviction about the problem Conduct solves. Experience with the SAP ecosystem or marketing to CIOs is a strong plus.

  • An appetite for being in the office every day when you're not at events, close to the team and the work.

Your seniority does not matter. Ambition, craft and the ability to turn ideas into high-quality work quickly do. We sponsor visas from everywhere. We're convinced diverse teams build better products, and we especially encourage people from groups underrepresented in tech to reach out.
