POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Box Office Coordinator serves as the operational right hand to the Director of Ticketing and supports the day-to-day management of Loew’s Jersey Theatre ticketing function. This role helps lead the box office staff, event setup and maintenance, onsales, event-day execution, customer service, inventory controls, and financial reconciliation, ensuring accurate, efficient, and guest-focused service across all sales channels in a fast-paced, high-volume live entertainment environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:

Help lead daily box office operations, including in-person, phone, and email sales, with a strong focus on customer service, accuracy, and consistent execution of established procedures.

Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and day-to-day supervision of part-time box office staff and ticket sellers; provide clear direction and escalate performance or staffing concerns to the Director of Ticketing.

Act as the primary onsite ticketing contact and make sound operational decisions within established guidelines when the Director of Ticketing is unavailable.

Build, scale, proof, and maintain events within Ticketmaster TM Host/TM1, including manifests, price levels, inventory, holds, offers, presales, delivery methods, and onsale timelines.

Conduct detailed quality-control checks before onsales and throughout the event lifecycle; identify and correct setup, inventory, pricing, and access issues before they affect guests or internal partners.

Monitor sales and inventory, process approved seat releases and kills, maintain holds, and flag sales trends, inventory concerns, or potential revenue opportunities to the Director of Ticketing.

Execute ticketing elements including guest lists, comps, house seats, and internal holds in alignment with established policies.

Coordinate with the Director of Ticketing and internal programming, marketing, finance, premium, and operations partners to implement pricing, promotions, presales, offers, and ticketing strategies.

Provide frontline support for patron inquiries, resolving issues and escalating complex situations as needed.

Complete daily sales reconciliation, event settlements, revenue reporting, and related audits to ensure financial accuracy, policy compliance, and timely issue resolution.

Serve as an event-day box office lead, overseeing will call and window operations, troubleshooting ticketing and scanning issues, coordinating VIP and guest-list needs, and serving as a liaison among the box office, guest services, security, promoters, tour representatives, and event staff

Maintain accurate patron records and support CRM data entry, list management, customer communications, and reporting.

Ensure compliance with ticketing policies and controls, including ADA seating, accessible inventory, refunds, exchanges, transfers, ticket reprints, and fraud prevention protocols.

Prepare and distribute post-event reports, including paid attendance, scans, sales performance, inventory status, and event notes, as directed by the Director of Ticketing.

Maintain ticketing system accuracy, shared files, event documentation, and standard operating procedures, and recommend process improvements that strengthen efficiency and the guest experience.

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

2–3 years of ticketing or box office experience in a concert venue, theatre, performing arts center, arena, or similar high-volume live entertainment environment preferred.

Working knowledge of Ticketmaster systems, including TM Host and TM1, with experience building or maintaining events strongly preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle escalations professionally.

Prior experience training, supervising, or serving as a lead for box office staff is preferred.

Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment during live events, and communicate clearly with staff, guests, promoters, and senior leadership.

Strong understanding of ticketing operations, event builds, inventory management, onsales, event settlements, and financial reconciliation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with onsite event coverage required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
-
Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed at Loew’s Jersey Theatre, but attendance at events taking place at Loew’s Jersey Theatre or offsite at Prudential Center, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $49,000 and $60,000/year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
