Contract
Duration: 12 months contract
Shift : Standard business hours.
Job Details:
The Associate Scientist will perform routine biochemical and cell-based assays to generate reliable, reproducible data. This person will follow established protocols, maintain clear experimental records, help troubleshoot assay or equipment issues, and communicate results to the project team.
Key responsibilities:

Execute routine biochemical and cell-based assays according to established protocols.
-
Prepare reagents, samples, and assay materials; operate high-throughput laboratory equipment and assay instruments.
-
Record, organize, and review experimental data, and communicate results and observations to the team.
-
Analyze assay data and contribute to summaries, presentations, and reports.
-
Identify and troubleshoot routine experimental or equipment issues, seeking guidance when needed.
-
Follow laboratory procedures for safety, documentation, and data quality.

Coordinate day-to-day assay materials and activities to support timely execution.
Basic qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
-
At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
-
Experience following experimental protocols and documenting laboratory work.
Preferred qualifications:
-
Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience.

Industry experience in a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
-
Experience with high-throughput laboratory instruments, such as Echo liquid dispensers and Multidrop dispensers.
-
Familiarity with data analysis tools such as GraphPad Prism and Genedata Screener.
-
Experience with biochemical and cell-based assay execution, data analysis, or troubleshooting.
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
- Experience with cell culture, experience running assays, experience with data analysis
