Great quaint team, "small office" seeking to add on the the team!
If you are an Accountant and ready for a Senior role or if you are a Senior Accountant and ready for an Accounting Manager role.... this is a good one.
Typical senior accountant duties:
-
Manage the day to day Accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections
-
Work with a 3rd party CPA firm for preparation and review of Financial Statements
-
Manage journal entries and account reconciliations
-
Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
-
Analyze financial data and trends to support strategic decision making
-
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
-
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
-
Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation
-
Support internal controls and recommend process improvements
-
Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on best practices
-
Payroll - Paychex
-
Lease accounting ASC 842 (U.S. GAAP)
Quickbooks Online a must
Onsite - Miami Florida - offers flexibility as needed
