Manages multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables with minimal supervision.
-
Leads or co-leads user group meetings, communicating decisions, changes, and follow-ups within expected time frames.
-
Evaluates, locates, and recommends equipment, including the assessment of existing equipment for potential repurposing. Interprets architectural drawings and specifications, understanding design and construction schedules.

Develops and manages owner-furnished equipment estimate and plan documents, coordinating effectively with all team members.
-
Manages the equipment budget and provides monthly reporting for Project Manager review.
-
Coordinates and distributes deliverables related to owner-furnished equipment, including lists, technical data, and budget, to the Project Manager.

Provides leadership in product and vendor selections, ensuring contracts and standards are incorporated while meeting customer needs.
-
Travels as needed, approximately 30%-40% of the time, to ensure effective planning.

Collaborates with sourcing managers, corporate associates, materials managers, hospital staff, the legal department, and suppliers to complete or enhance contracts.

Utilizes a strong knowledge base of contract structures, terms, conditions, risk mitigation, and the proper execution and inclusion of legal and business requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of owner-related equipment (including but not limited to medical equipment) planning practices. This includes material takeoffs from conceptual architectural drawings, project narratives, and verbal instructions. [Required]
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks. [Required]
- Solid understanding of design and construction practices; estimating, planning. Understanding of sourcing/procurement practices. [Required]
- Effective communication, both written and verbal to various levels and types of audiences. [Required]
- Interpersonal skills to foster positive relations with hospital leaders and diverse teams. [Required]
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple small to mid-sized healthcare projects. [Required]
- Active listening, critical thinking, proactive management skills. [Required]
- Familiarity with construction documents and ability to read/interpret floor plans. [Required]
- Proficiency with analytical software tools/Excel. [Required]
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office. [Required]
- Experienced with building and equipment specifications. [Preferred]
- Experience in utilization of Attainia software. [Preferred]
- Familiar with web-based applications and PeopleSoft ERP. [Preferred]
- Project management skills. [Preferred]
- Knowledge of hospital organization and commitment to patient-centered service and professional growth. [Preferred]
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam or comparable software for editing drawings/pdf files. [Preferred]
Education:
- Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
- N/A
Work Experience:
- 5+ in construction or supply chain related field [Required]
- 5+ in estimating construction projects [Preferred]
- 5+ in the medical equipment planning industry [Preferred]

Pay Range:
