Full job description
About Axonius Axonius is the asset intelligence platform. We give Security and IT teams a complete, trusted view of every asset across their environment: the foundation they need to adopt AI-first cybersecurity with confidence. As AI changes how security gets done, we’re building on that foundation to deliver AI-first exposure management and to help customers secure their AI assets. About our team You’ll join a team of experienced cybersecurity marketers who have worked at companies of every size and stage. Some of us have taken companies out of stealth, and others have joined at a growth stage and seen them through to IPO. You’ll learn from people with deep cyber and marketing experience, and you’ll own your product area from day one. About the role As Axonius enters an AI-first era, the story we tell must keep pace. As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll shape how we talk about the product and the role of AI in cybersecurity. You’ll also help ensure our field teams across sales, sales engineering, and customer success can tell that story with confidence. This is a hands-on role. You’ll write the words, build the assets, and spend time with the people who use them: our field, customers, and partners. What you’ll do
- Positioning and messaging: Craft new positioning and messaging as we enter an AI-first era. Turn product capabilities into clear value propositions across web copy, product collateral, and narratives that resonate with our buyers.
- Product partnership: Work closely with Product to understand what’s being built and why. Turn the roadmap and launches into clear messaging, and bring customer and field feedback to the product team.
- Sales enablement: Help sales understand both the Axonius product and the role of AI in cybersecurity. Build the collateral, talk tracks, and training that sellers use.
- Demand generation support: Partner with demand gen and regional marketing on campaigns, ensuring messaging and content land with the right audiences in each segment.
- Product differentiation: Raise awareness of what sets Axonius apart, in the market and inside deals.
- Customer conversations: Talk directly with customers, including roadmap discussions, and bring what you learn back into product positioning.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in cybersecurity. B2B experience in adjacent fields is also welcome.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with experience crafting product descriptions, web copy, sales collateral, and demos.
- Comfort enabling field teams across the organization, including sales, sales engineering, and customer success.
- Confidence leading customer conversations, including roadmap discussions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, marketing, or communications preferred.
What success looks like In your first 90 days
- You understand the Axonius platform, our buyers, and where AI fits in our story.
- You’ve listened to sales calls and spoken with customers, and you know the questions that come up most.
- You’ve shipped your first piece of messaging or collateral, and sellers are using it.
In your first year
- New AI-first messaging is live across the website, sales collateral, and campaigns, and it reads as one consistent story.
- Sellers choose your material over building their own.
- Regional and demand gen campaigns related to your area of ownership launch with clear, differentiated messaging.
- Our differentiators come up more often in deals and in how prospects describe us.
- Product hears customer and field feedback from you, and it shapes positioning and roadmap conversations.
