Rate of pay: $16.85 – $18.96. Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop, and implement dance programs that cater to a wide range of ages and skill levels.

  • Create dance curricula and lesson plans, incorporating different dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, and contemporary.

  • Continuously update and adapt the program to include new trends, techniques, and best practices in dance education.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.

  • Previous experience as a dance instructor or performer (2-3 years preferred).

  • Experience teaching various styles of dance (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary).

  • Strong understanding of dance techniques, choreography, and performance practices.

  • Familiarity with dance theory, safety protocols, and injury prevention.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-lingual skills

  • Additional qualifications specific to each program (such as certifications or degrees in dance, sports, or education)
