In-Home Support- 12-hr overnight shifts

An adult in Plover is looking for a dependable support person who enjoys a mix of hands-on assistance, social time, and recreational activities. This individual has a fun personality and a wide range of interests. From NASCAR and Monster Jam to fishing, bowling, mini-golf, board games, and walks in the park, there is always something to look forward to! He also enjoys spending time with friends and participating in adaptive sports, including track, bowling, and bocce ball. The right person will help him participate in the activities he enjoys while providing the daily assistance he needs at home and in the community. Schedule Available Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7pm - 7am, overnight awake shifts. During the night you will be cleaning or attending to other household duties Wage: $17.88/hr Responsibilities This position combines personal assistance with companionship and community involvement. Duties include: Assisting with transfers using an overhead track lift. Providing support with G-tube feedings and medication routines. Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs. Supporting safe mobility, comfort, and daily routines. Driving a wheelchair-accessible van for outings and appointments. Participating in recreational activities and community events. Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, patient, and comfortable working one-on-one with another person. You should enjoy being involved in activities and be willing to learn the hands-on skills needed for the position. Requirements include: At least 18 years of age. Ability to pass a caregiver background check. Valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Willingness to provide personal care and learn specialized support techniques. Reliability, respect for privacy, and a positive attitude. Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the specific care routines and equipment used in this home. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you should be comfortable learning and following instructions. Employment Details This is a private, one-on-one support position. The individual receiving services or his representative selects and hires the worker directly through Wisconsin's self-directed support system.
