This position requires 5+ years of | | experience. | | | | | | | | | | | | POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: | | | | | | | | - Follow Building Practice production and design standards and | | procedures as delegated by the Project Manager | | - Perform and check structural engineering calculations using | | company, client, and industry standards | | - Participate in the preparation and checking of structural | | construction drawings created by teammates to meet firm and | | client requirements. | | - Develop and check cost estimates | | - Participate in the preparation of reports and studies | | - Assist in the management of projects | | - Coordinate with other engineering disciplines within the firm to | | assure successful completion of projects | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | POSITION REQUIREMENTS: | | | | | | | | - Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Missouri, or Arkansas | | - Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois (preferred) | | - Experience with structural design and detailing of water or | | wastewater plant structures or similar structures (firm | | requirement) | | - Strong written and verbal communication skills | | - Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation | | - Knowledge of Structural Design Software | | - Ability to traverse structural sites, including heights and rough | | terrain | | - Must possess a valid driver's license | | - Must complete a background check | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: | | | | | | | | | | | | Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering | | Master of Science in Civil Engineering (preferred) | | SALARY RANGE: | | | | | | | | | | | | Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package | | and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation.
