Program SummaryAs part of the LOGCAP NORTHCOM scope, KBR provides rapid response support to scheduled and unscheduled U.S. Army training exercises. KBR’s LOGCAP team successfully completed another year of support to Warfighter operations by providing typical LOGCAP services at two locations.

Job Summary

The Logistics Manager oversees logistics, supply chain, warehouse, and Class IX operations. This role develops and implements policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant logistics support. The Logistics Manager provides strategic direction for inventory management, warehousing, transportation, supply accountability, and customer support, ensuring mission readiness and operational excellence.

Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates daily logistics operations. Provides leadership and supervision to logistics personnel, sets performance objectives, and ensures compliance with training, safety, contractual, and government requirements. Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes trends, and implements process improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with senior leadership to achieve operational and strategic goals. Maintains focus on workforce development, operational readiness, risk management, and resource optimization.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all logistics, warehouse, inventory, and Class II, III(P), VII, IX operations.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce logistics policies, procedures, and operational controls.

  • Manage personnel staffing, training, development, and performance evaluations.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy, supply accountability, and asset visibility.

  • Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, contractual, and government regulations.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support mission and customer requirements.

  • Develop operational reports, metrics, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Manage resources effectively to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 7-10 years of progressively responsible logistics experience, including leadership roles. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of progressive logistics, supply, warehouse, or maintenance support experience is required.

  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, warehouse operations, inventory control, Class IX repair parts management, and logistics support activities.

  • Must have extensive Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) experience in warehouse operation.

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale logistics operations while ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong understanding of logistics metrics, forecasting, inventory management systems, and process improvement methods.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and oversee personnel performance and operations.

  • Excellent customer service, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, and senior leaders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must possess a valid State Real ID.

  • Work under stressful circumstances and meet short suspense dates.

  • Must be physically capable of performing the work in conditions of extreme temperatures, low humidity, rain, and blowing sand and dust.

  • May be required to work uncommon hours of duty, extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Proficiency in FEDLOG.

  • Proficiency in Cargo Movement Operation System (CMOS).

  • Proficiency in Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP).

  • Proficiency in LogiQuest Lite.

  • Proficiency in additional logistics management information systems as required.
