Full job description

At Fetch, we’re building a multifamily amenity package that brings package delivery, an in-app market, mobile storage, and valet trash together through one provider. Our goal is simple: make life easier for residents and property teams. Fetch Valet Trash brings technology, clear standards, and accountability to an industry overdue for improvement. We prioritize safety, invest in our people, and use data and AI to simplify work and improve service. Consistency beats peaks. The Opportunity You’re joining a rapidly growing startup business within Fetch. You will help build it. Unlike a traditional valet trash management role, your responsibility extends beyond communities near your home. You will lead operations across assigned markets, including markets you oversee remotely. You’ll develop field leaders, strengthen staffing, improve processes, and help shape how we operate as we grow. This is a full-time leadership position. It requires your attention, initiative, and timely communication throughout the operating day. It cannot be treated as a side job. When service is at risk, you act. When someone needs an answer, you respond. When you delegate work, you verify the result. Your team and customers should never have to chase you for an update. You’ll report to the Director of Valet Trash Operations and own performance across quality, safety, engagement, and cost. What you’ll own

  • Deliver consistent service across your markets. Maintain coverage, monitor execution, resolve service failures, and verify corrective work. Remote oversight requires the same accountability as being there.

  • Build and develop reliable teams. Partner with recruiting, hire service valets, coach Area Supervisors and Field Support Associates, and address performance gaps directly. Build staffing plans that account for turnover, absences, and growth.

  • Protect safety and service quality. Use audits, route evidence, and field observations to identify risks. Assign clear corrective actions and confirm they worked.

  • Run a disciplined operation. Plan labor, manage overtime and contingency costs, and complete accurate time approvals and employee documentation by their deadlines. Your team depends on you to get these basics right.

  • Communicate and follow through. Keep field teams, Trash Support, and Client Success informed. Raise problems early, establish owners and deadlines, and confirm handoffs before signing off.

  • Help build a better business. Interpret operational trends, improve workflows, and partner on launches, training, and technology. Bring practical ideas and take responsibility for putting them to work.

What we look for

  • Relevant leadership experience. Three to five years in field operations, hospitality, service, logistics, or facilities. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or three or more years of apartment valet trash experience.

  • Judgment and ownership. You solve problems, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment without waiting for repeated direction.

  • Technology and analytical skills. You learn software quickly, interpret operational trends, and use data to make informed decisions.

  • Organization and communication. You manage details, meet commitments, and communicate clearly in writing and conversation. You build productive partnerships and keep the customer experience in view.

  • Workforce planning ability. You can develop and maintain a healthy, reliable staffing model that supports service quality and growth.

What the work requires

  • Full-time, salaried leadership work, typically Sunday–Thursday, 2–10 p.m., with adjustments for operational needs and assigned market time zones.

  • Active oversight of markets outside your home base, including clear coordination with local field teams.

  • A valid driver’s license and comfort traveling within your primary market.

  • Travel outside your primary market for up to 20% of the year.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds, walk up to 2.5 miles, stand for up to three hours, and work in varying weather conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Compensation – Your expertise and impact are recognized and rewarded Comprehensive Benefits Package – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for you and your family

  • Plan for Your Future – 401(k) plus AD&D, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability coverage

  • Unlimited PTO – Take the time you need to recharge and bring your best self to work Work That Makes an Impact – Help shape the future of our operations, teams, and growth
