Teacher Aide - Pre-school

Ukrainian Academy Inc. is seeking a full-time Teacher Aide at our Parma Heights, OH location. The Teacher Aide assists the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children in a daycare and early childhood education setting. Duties include: - Assist the lead teacher during daily classroom activities and structured learning sessions - Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and indoor/outdoor activities - Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment - Assist children with personal hygiene, including handwashing and restroom routines - Help prepare learning materials, toys, and classroom supplies - Observe children's behavior and report concerns to the lead teacher or director - Provide emotional support and encouragement to children during daily activities - Assist with classroom setup, transitions between activities, and daily schedules - Help serve snacks and meals in compliance with health and safety standards - Ensure children follow safety rules and behavioral guidelines - Communicate respectfully with staff regarding children's daily progress Requirements: High school diploma or GED. 12 months of experience collaborating with staff and families to enhance the overall childcare experience.
