Controller | Family Office | San Francisco | Base + Bonus + Great Perks!
A well-established family office overseeing a diversified portfolio spanning real estate, hospitality, and specialty agriculture. The team is known for its stability, collaborative culture, and commitment to excellence, offering an environment where each professional’s contributions are valued.

Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Review and analyze financial statements prior to submission to external CPAs

Support tax compliance and planning, including reviewing returns prepared externally

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address the financial and operational needs of multiple entities

Oversee accounting for specialized portfolio industries, including real estate and niche operations

Requirements

10+ years of accounting experience in a multi-entity environment Family office

Strong general ledger and reconciliation expertise

Sage Intacct experience is required

CPA or progress toward certification preferred, with a focus on tax

Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style
