Job Description Manager In Charge + Job Summary Responsible for day-to-day Front of House shift management, including supervising staff, general custodial duties, and safety of the facility. Reports directly to the General Manager (or Assistant General Manager in General Manager's absence) + Essential Job Functions Supervise regular facility shifts, including special events, regular programs, pro shop and snack bar, grounds and staff functions Responsible for proper cash register procedures and opening/closing point of sale system Handle patron services including skate sharpening, first aid, crowd control, customer service, and enforcing facility rules Check facility and empty trash every shift as schedule permits, and restock/clean restrooms, sweeping, mopping and cleaning locker rooms, bleachers and public spaces including pickleball courts Back-up person for all Front of House positions as needed Other duties as requested or assigned by General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Lead Operations Manager + Education and Experience Must be 18 years old Good communication and customer service skills Attention to detail + Compensation and Benefits Position is part-time, 15-20 hours a week No benefits are available for this position + Working Conditions Working Conditions Details Hours of work Part-time, 15-20 hours a week fl exible and variable. Evening and weekend hours. Hours may exceed 20 during peak times Overtime expectations As needed Work environment Ice arena, ice plant areas. Temperatures are in 30s and 40s most times.
