Full job description

Description

Training for this position will be on-site in Mankato MN. Once fully trained, candidate has the option of working on-site at the Wickersham Clinic, hybrid, or working from home. Must live within 100 miles of Mankato MN.Full-time, 80 hours/pay periodMonday-Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

This position is responsible for answering all incoming calls to the main clinic number, directing calls to the correct department, and scheduling appointments for patients within the family practice or internal medicine departments. This job function includes telephone encounters with patients, receptionist and clinical staff and accessing the practice management software to input patient appointment details based on the healthcare provider’s protocol.

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;

  • Experience working with the public;

  • Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations, including high volume of incoming calls;

  • Ability to communicate effectively;

  • Customer service experience;

  • Excellent telephone communications and typing skills;

  • Dedication to patient satisfaction;

  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude;

  • Medical terminology is helpful;

  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screen, health assessment, and background check.

Benefits & Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $17.15-$23.95, initial pay based on relevant work experience.

Our clinic environment offers primarily daytime, weekday schedules, helping employees maintain consistency in their daily routines. All employees scheduled 60-80 hours per pay period are eligible for full benefits.
