You will be responsible for understanding customer challenges, defining clear roadmaps, and guiding feature development to simplify day-to-day operations for Security Engineers and Network Administrators. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, UX, Architecture, and Product Marketing—you will drive solutions that eliminate configuration drift, automate compliance, and streamline security operations at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities
-
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the end-to-end vision and roadmap for configuration management, automated policy enforcement, change validation, drift detection, and security posture monitoring across distributed environments.
-
Requirements & Delivery: Translate complex customer operational challenges into detailed user stories, configuration workflows, and acceptance criteria to guide engineering throughout the delivery lifecycle.
-
Security Automation & Usability: Proactively collaborate with UX and Engineering teams to deliver automated, low-touch configuration tools, bulk rollout workflows, role-based access controls (RBAC), and policy audit trails.
-
Go-To-Market Alignment: Partner with Product Marketing to communicate technical security value, develop technical collateral, and drive enablement for sales and partner channels.
-
Voice of the Customer: Engage regularly with CISOs, SecOps teams, and Network Security Engineers to evaluate pain points surrounding change management, configuration hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
-
Metrics & KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators around configuration hygiene, MTTR for policy violations, feature adoption, and platform uptime to drive continuous product refinement.
-
Market & Threat Intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis and track industry frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST, Zero Trust) to ensure product alignment with modern security architectures.
-
Field & Customer Enablement: Collaborate with Technical Marketing Engineers (TME), Solutions Architects, and Support to deliver technical demos, drive customer beta programs, and address critical architectural escalations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
-
BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent practical/military experience.
-
8+ years of technical Product Management experience, preferably within enterprise B2B SaaS.
-
Strong domain expertise in Network Security, Configuration Management (CMDB, IaC concepts, policy auditing), and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) .
-
Solid understanding of security policy lifecycles, configuration drift detection, change management workflows, and zero-touch provisioning.
-
Proven track record translating complex security standards, CLI/API paradigms, and multi-tenant architectures into intuitive user experiences.
-
Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Direct experience building SaaS-delivered management platforms that automate configuration changes, policy rollbacks, and compliance reporting across distributed endpoints or firewalls.
-
Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), GitOps, configuration APIs (REST/NETCONF), and modern orchestration tooling.
-
Familiarity with enterprise compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, CIS Benchmarks).
-
Experience with end-to-end device/asset lifecycles, including secure onboarding, automated credential rotation, firmware/patch management, and decommissioning.
