Job Position: 2nd Shift Industrial Painter (Direct Hire) Location: Anderson, SC 29626 Pay Rate: $18.25-27.96/hr Shift:2nd Shift:2:30pm-11pm (Monday-Friday) Description: OpSource has partnered with a full-service metal fabrication and machining company located in Anderson, SC. These are all direct hire positions. Position Summary: An industrial painter applies protective and decorative coatings to heavy machinery, structural steel, bridges, tanks, and factory assets to prevent corrosion, wear, and environmental damage. ?? Starting Pay Rates on Experience and Pre-Employment Test Results: $18.25-$27.96 (based on expereince) Job requirements for the position may include: What You'll Do: ? Clean metal parts using hand and power tools to remove slag or debis ? Wash parts in booth or chemical solvents to prepare for coating ? Mask, sand, and hang parts in preparation for powder application ? Apply powder coating in paint booth, ensuring consistent quality ? Operate and maintain cure ovens as per specifications ?Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards ?Accurately record labor and production data ?Maintain a clean and organized work area ?Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE ?Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications?? What We're Looking For: ?High School Diploma or GED required ? Minimum 2 years of expereince in steel manufacturing or industrial painting ? Completion of safety, quality, and production training ? Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment ? Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods ?Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds ?Heavier loads require use of overhead or jib crane ?Must be able to wear a respirator when required ??
