Senior Software Engineer - INTL India

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Evinova’s Platform Applications team to design, build, and operate shared services used across the organization. This person will be a senior, hands-on engineer with a strong focus on building authentication and authorization services for users and AI agents, including permission management and access control. They will also build and support broader platform capabilities, including analytics SDKs, data visualization tooling, and notification services consumed by products across Evinova. This engineer will work with product teams to understand requirements and will own solutions through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Design and build authentication and authorization services used platform-wide, including token issuance and permission resolution.
• Operate and extend our Keycloak-based SSO, covering multi-tenant login, MFA, and IdP federation.
• Build and maintain an analytics SDK that products integrate to send usage data, and a tool for visualizing that data.
• Build notification services (email, in-app, etc.) consumed by products across Evinova.
• Collaborate with product teams adopting shared platform services, defining requirements and driving consensus on deliverables.
• Mentor engineers to promote technical growth and knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Build, deploy, and support applications in production, using AWS native services and CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.

Skills and Requirements

• 6+ years of professional engineering experience
• Extensive experience building authentication and authorization services, with a strong emphasis on authorization, using OAuth 2.0/OIDC, JWTs, SSO, RBAC, and/or Keycloak (Keycloak preferred)
• Extensive experience designing and implementing permission management and access control within authorization systems
• Strong hands-on development experience with TypeScript and/or Java
• Experience building and operating shared/platform services (SDKs, APIs) consumed by multiple teams
• Experience with AWS services
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• 2+ years of leadership responsibilities on software delivery projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Python Development Experience
