Paralegal

Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support the General Counsel with complaint response matters in Miami Lakes, Florida. This Long-term Contract position focuses on investigating customer concerns, gathering supporting records, and preparing clear, well-organized written responses for regulatory and legal matters. The ideal candidate brings strong legal research skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple active issues with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Support the General Counsel by reviewing incoming complaints and helping prepare timely, well-supported responses.

• Investigate issues raised by customers by examining relevant facts, records, and background information.

• Draft written replies for matters involving attorney general inquiries and other formal complaints.

• Collect, organize, and maintain documentation needed to respond to disputes, claims, and regulatory requests.

• Conduct legal and factual research to clarify issues and strengthen response strategies.

• Prepare correspondence, summaries, and other legal documents with close attention to detail and tone.

• Track open matters through case management systems to ensure deadlines, status updates, and documentation remain current.

• Assist with litigation-related and discovery-related tasks as needed in support of ongoing legal matters. Requirements • 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in complaint response, civil litigation, or regulatory matters.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research and translate findings into practical written work.

• Experience drafting legal documents, formal correspondence, and case-related summaries.

• Working knowledge of discovery processes and litigation support activities.

• Proficiency with case management software and document organization practices.

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate, detail-focused responses.

• High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
