Production Process Laborers Location: Saxonburg, PA 16056 Pay Rate: $21.92/hr Shift: Straight Daylight Shift: 7-3pm *There may be a time when work on different shift is needed- 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am *Monday- Friday Schedule- occasionally overtime is available on Saturdays. $1/hr shift differential! If working a shift other than daylight shift! This is a temp to hire role for candidates and meant to be a long-term role with entry into the union. Job Summary: A union shop in Saxonburg is looking for laborers to work in a variety of different roles ranging from learning to operate a press, a kiln, firing products and so forth. These roles are specifically involved in performing production tasks like operating a press, cutting, sorting and packing various materials as well as assisting in secondary tasks like setting up various departments to ensure that all materials are available and ready to perform tasks at various stages of the manufacturing of materials, including the movement of materials to the shipping department where the finished product has met all requirements. These are labor-intensive roles that require lifting 50 pounds and able to carry at least 35 pounds on a repetitive basis. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not necessary. Skills gained in labor positions in construction or farm work will be considered. Requirements: 1. Manufacturing or other labor type experience is strongly preferred! 2. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and carry at least 35 pounds frequently 3. Must have a GED or High School Diploma 4. Must pass a drug screen and meet background check requirements. 5.
