No Job Description Summary Maintains and performs complex repair on computer hardware and software. Directly supervises classified employees. Job Description Essential Duties - Installs, tests, and maintains computer hardware; performs routine cleaning and preventive maintenance. - Identifies cause of computer hardware problems; resolves or contacts appropriate person for additional assistance. - Installs, tests, and debugs client software - Assists users of department software; answers questions and provides information. - Maintains an inventory of supplies and tools, reorders as necessary. - Supervises other classified staff. Schedule work and assign tasks; monitor and review performance. Minimum Qualifications Requires an associate's degree in Computer Science and three years of computer experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Knowledge of computer maintenance and repair - Knowledge of computer operating systems - Knowledge of software used by department Additional Position Information (if applicable) Special Instructions (if applicable) None Additional Information A criminal background check is required.
