Geologist I (Suffern, NY)

Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-2 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Suffern, NY office.What youll do: * Hydrogeologic /geologic investigations * Pumping test supervision * Water-quality sampling * Streamflow gaging * GIS map/graphics generation * Soil sampling and logging during well installation * Permit and report writingWhat you will bring: * BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology * A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting * Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings * Practical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Some travel will be required to conduct field work * Valid drivers license is required.
