Pay rate: $93 per hour
Location: San Jose, CA — hybrid, three days in the office each week with chance of Remote consideration
Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced finance systems and reporting professional to join our Consolidation and Reporting team. In this role, you’ll help implement CCH Tagetik for financial consolidation and reporting, and build and improve EPM reporting solutions that support the close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on EPM report development with a strong understanding of Finance and Accounting requirements. You’ll work closely with Accounting, Finance, IT, and implementation partners to deliver reliable, useful reporting and strengthen the team’s EPM capabilities.
What You’ll Do
Financial reporting and EPM development
-
Build, customize, and maintain financial statements, consolidation reports, management reporting packages, and ad hoc reports in an EPM platform.
-
Translate close, consolidation, and reporting needs into practical system and reporting solutions.
-
Improve report design, functionality, usability, performance, and maintainability.
-
Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and develop reusable solutions.
Close, consolidation, and data support
-
Support EPM activities across close, consolidation, and financial reporting.
-
Validate and reconcile EPM data and reports against source systems and financial results.
-
Investigate reporting and data issues involving formulas, sign conventions, mappings, hierarchies, data loads, integrations, and consolidation results.
-
Support intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, consolidation adjustments, and multi-entity reporting.
-
Partner with IT and implementation resources when system or integration support is needed.
Implementation, testing, and user support
-
Represent Close, Consolidation, and Reporting requirements during the CCH Tagetik implementation and future enhancements.
-
Develop and execute test scenarios for reports, system changes, upgrades, and process updates.
-
Support UAT, document issues, validate fixes, and perform regression testing as needed.
-
Maintain functional requirements, reporting procedures, testing documentation, and user guidance.
-
Provide day-to-day EPM reporting support, knowledge transfer, and training to team members.
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
-
5+ years of relevant experience in finance systems, EPM/CPM, financial reporting, consolidation, or a related area.
-
Hands-on experience with CCH Tagetik or a comparable EPM/CPM platform, such as OneStream, Oracle EPM/Hyperion, or SAP BPC.
-
Experience building and customizing financial reports within an EPM platform—not only running reports as an end user.
-
Ability to translate Finance and Accounting requirements into functional or reporting solutions.
-
Experience supporting EPM implementations or significant enhancements, including testing, UAT, and issue resolution.
-
Strong Excel skills and experience analyzing and reconciling financial data.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently investigate reporting and data issues.
-
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across Accounting, Finance, IT, and external implementation teams.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Hands-on CCH Tagetik experience, especially in financial consolidation and reporting.
-
Experience developing financial statements, consolidation reports, management reporting packages, dashboards, or similar EPM-based solutions.
-
Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA and ERP-to-EPM data flows.
-
Knowledge of consolidation accounting, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, consolidation adjustments, and multi-entity reporting.
-
Familiarity with EPM metadata, hierarchies, mappings, workflows, business rules, and integrations.
-
Experience supporting Finance transformation or an EPM implementation in a global, multi-entity organization.
-
Relevant systems certification.
