About Rezo Therapeutics

Rezo is a different kind of biopharma company. Our mission is to dramatically increase the success rate of drug development by building a disease-agnostic, fully-integrated, network biology platform that will redefine our understanding of human disease and ability to treat it.

We are leveraging a unique integrated approach, combining capabilities in genetics, proteomics, structural biology and AI to generate deep biological insights and novel therapeutic approaches.

Located in San Francisco’s vibrant Mission Bay neighborhood, Rezo is in close proximity to UCSF, numerous urban amenities, and outdoor recreational opportunities. We recognize that realizing our mission depends as much on our people as it does on our science and are building a workplace that fosters collaboration, respect, and diversity where contributing to your team’s success is valued as highly as individual achievements. If you’re passionate about team science and breaking down barriers to progress in drug development, please consider joining us!

The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Director of Program Management to join the R&D organization. This individual will play a key leadership role in scaling and advancing Rezo’s Program Management capabilities as the company enters its next stage of growth.

  • Lead cross-functional team meetings for advanced programs to drive program strategy, key decision-making, and risk assessments (scheduling, timelines, costs, etc.)

  • Create master program timelines and project/program plans to ensure efficient initiation and completion of activities

  • Oversee the research and communication with external collaborations, including SRAs, industry partners, and CROs, ensuring alignment to accomplish the goals of each collaboration

  • As the Rezo pipeline advances, build a high-performing PM team to manage cross functional efforts and direct our therapeutic programs through IND submission and into the clinic

  • Continue to evolve and implement consistent best practices in program management across the organization with clear continuity between functions, especially in the IND-enabling space (Platform, Discovery, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, BD, etc.)

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop, implement, and ensure adherence to company-wide operational procedures and process improvements (documentation policies, data and file storage organization, presentation materials, etc.)

About You:

  • BS, MS, or PhD (advanced degree preferred) in the Life Sciences, with previous experience as a bench scientist preferred

  • Typically, a minimum of 10+ years of related work experience in Biotech or Pharma with a BS (8+ years with an advanced degree), with prior experience at a startup highly desirable

  • Formally educated, trained, and/or certified in Project/Program Management (PMP, CAPM, etc.)

  • Successful track record in managing complex projects/programs and other business activities within a matrixed environment of diverse stakeholders

  • Previous experience as PM for IND-enabling studies and document preparation is preferred

  • Adept at using interpersonal and communication skills, as well as influence, to ensure optimal team performance and completion of deliverables
