Full job description

At Lilly, the work is demanding because patients are waiting. We unite caring with discovery to help make life better for people around the world, knowing that every decision, every detail, and every day matters. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, our over 50,000 employees around the globe take on complex challenges to discover and deliver life-changing medicines, strengthen how health is understood and managed, and support the communities we serve. This is hard, urgent, selfless work—but it’s work worth doing. If you’re driven by purpose and ready to bring your best to work that truly matters for patients, we invite you to join us.

LillyDirect is an innovative, industry-first direct-to-patient e-commerce experience designed to improve access to care, reduce healthcare costs, and provide integrated support to people managing chronic disease. As we scale rapidly, delivering exceptional post-purchase consumer experiences is central to our mission.

We are seeking a visionary Product Management leader to lead product strategy, development, and execution of our digital product portfolio across EMEA. This role is pivotal in shaping how customers experience LillyDirect, driving core KPIs across a consumer focused product portfolio. As a senior product leader, you will define and lead the strategies and roadmaps for consumer-focused digital products designed to reduce friction and build lasting consumer loyalty. We are especially interested in leaders who have launched consumer digital health products within publicly funded, multi-payer healthcare systems alongside a growing private-pay market.

What You Will Do

Product Strategy and Roadmap

Help define and implement a bold EMEA product strategy, roadmap, timeline, and requirements. Align product initiatives with consumer satisfaction goals and business outcomes, CSAT/NPS impact, and ensure consistent delivery across a portfolio of interconnected products. Have a strong voice across the LillyDirect Product team, ensuring that insights inform future strategy. Define how LillyDirect adapts to markets where private prescribing and online pharmacy models operate alongside a national health service.

Team First Mentality

Embody a no-ego, team-first mentality in all interactions. Foster a collaborative culture that prioritizes shared success over individual recognition. Represent the product team with humility and integrity when engaging with business and ops collaborators, engineering, design and third party vendors.

Partnership Champion

Act as a strategic product partner to consumer operations leads, translating collective goals into a compelling product vision and actionable strategy. Collaborate closely with design and engineering to ensure solutions are grounded in consumer needs, are technically scalable, and aligned with the broader LillyDirect experience. Stay up to date on new technology and third-party solutions that augment our roadmap, including online pharmacy, telehealth, and health-system partners. Champion the voice of the consumer in every product decision, CSAT trends, and qualitative research to inform priorities.

User Experience and Design

Partner to understand end-to-end consumer journeys across consumer touchpoints: desktop, mobile web, app, chat, email, phone. Collaborate closely with Design and UXR, to ensure our UX is intuitive and designed as frictionless, anticipating needs before our customers do. Advocate for design quality and accessibility throughout the product lifecycle, and use data-driven insights to continuously reduce consumer friction and improve first-contact resolution rates.

Technical Collaboration and Standards

Partner with engineering leadership to assess architectural trade-offs. Establish technical standards and ensure scalable, modular solutions that can flex with product expansion. Apply working knowledge of health-data privacy requirements under a national regulator, open banking, and national health app ecosystems.

Stakeholder Engagement and Thought Leadership

Build and maintain strong relationships with collaborators. Serve as the internal subject matter expert on consumer product best practices within e-commerce and direct-to-consumer models. Represent LillyDirect’s consumer product vision in industry forums and contribute to thought leadership in customer experience.

Your Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10 + years of product management experience

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing consumer product portfolios at a high-growth e-commerce or direct-to-consumer company

  • Extensive experience partnering and working with engineering teams

  • Experience evaluating third-party solutions and engaging with external vendors

  • For US based candidates: Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.

What You Should Bring

  • 5 + years of product management experience shipping products within EMEA markets

  • Proven track record of driving measurable impact in an e-commerce setting

  • Experience launching or operating digital health products in EMEA, ideally within a publicly funded, multi-payer healthcare system

  • Working knowledge of national-level medicines regulation, health technology assessment, and pharma industry codes of practice

  • Familiarity with how regional health bodies, primary care, and prescribing and referral pathways work within a national health service

  • Experience with nationally regulated online pharmacy and private prescribing models

  • Deep understanding of user experience principles and human-centered design

  • Background in managing web and mobile app consumer experiences

  • Exceptional leadership and critical thinking skills with strong eye for business and consumer empathy
