FASTSIGNS is looking for a proactive, relationship-focused sales professional to grow our business through targeted outreach, new customer acquisition, and reactivation of past customers.

In this role, you’ll identify opportunities, connect with decision-makers, recommend signs and graphics solutions, and manage the resulting orders through completion. Success requires consistent prospecting, strong follow-through, and the ability to turn an initial conversation into a long-term customer relationship.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop New Business

  • Research and target businesses with ongoing signage, branding, and visual communication needs.

  • Make consistent outbound cold calls, send personalized outreach, and conduct business visits to generate opportunities.

  • Identify decision-makers, learn about their business needs, and schedule sales consultations.

  • Prepare proposals, follow up on quotes, and close sales.

  • Build referral relationships that generate repeat opportunities.

Reactivate Dormant Accounts

  • Reconnect with customers who have not ordered recently.

  • Review previous projects, identify current needs, and uncover opportunities to earn their business again.

  • Maintain a structured follow-up plan to turn reactivated accounts into repeat customers.

Manage Customer Projects

  • Serve as the customer’s primary contact from initial consultation through project completion.

  • Gather accurate project specifications, budgets, and deadlines.

  • Coordinate estimates, artwork approvals, production, and installation with the internal team.

  • Keep customers informed, resolve questions, and follow up after completion to identify future needs.

Maintain an Active Sales Pipeline

  • Record customer interactions, opportunities, and next steps in our CRM.

  • Organize daily prospecting and follow-up activities.

  • Work toward agreed-upon goals for outreach, new accounts, reactivated accounts, and sales revenue.

What We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable initiating conversations and making cold calls.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and accountable for sales results.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.

  • Able to manage multiple customer projects while maintaining consistent prospecting activity.

  • Previous business-to-business sales or business development experience preferred.

  • Signs, graphics, printing, or related industry experience is a plus.

Grow and Strengthen Existing Accounts

  • Build deeper relationships with existing customers by understanding their business, goals, and ongoing signage needs.

  • Schedule regular check-ins to discuss upcoming projects, evaluate previous work, and identify additional ways FASTSIGNS can support their business.

  • Develop relationships with additional decision-makers, departments, and locations within each account.

  • Proactively recommend relevant signs and graphics solutions.

  • Create account growth plans that encourage repeat business and position FASTSIGNS as a trusted, long-term partner.

What Success Looks Like

A steady pipeline of qualified opportunities, new customers placing orders, dormant accounts returning, and well-managed projects that lead to repeat business.
