Full job description

About Mercor

Mercor's mission is to organize human intelligence to power the AI economy. We're a leading AI data company, building the layer between human expertise and frontier models. Millions of domain experts on the platform are paid over $4 million per day to train frontier AI models. Mercor's APEX benchmark family measures AI's real-world impact on professional work. Mercor Enterprise brings this same infrastructure to Fortune 500 companies: helping companies capture how their best people actually work, translating that expertise directly back into agents.

Mercor is creating a new category of work where expertise powers AI advancement. Achieving this requires an ambitious, fast-paced and deeply committed team. You’ll work alongside researchers, operators, and AI companies at the forefront of shaping the systems that are redefining society. Mercor is a profitable Series C company valued at $10 billion. We work in-person five days a week in our San Francisco, NYC, or London offices.

About the role Mercor provides the data and evaluations that help AI models improve. As a primary data partner to the world’s leading AI labs, we’ve built systems to evaluate and train their models. We now bring that same expertise to enterprises, helping them test AI on real business tasks and improve performance through custom evaluations, expert data, and post-training. Our network of more than 8 million domain experts allows us to deliver this at scale. We’re hiring a Partnerships Lead to build Mercor’s consulting and SI partner business from the ground up. You’ll develop relationships with leading firms, create programs that bring Mercor into their client engagements, and drive revenue through those partnerships. We’re launching two programs:

  • Joint go-to-market fund: Mercor provides funding to help partners win and deliver client engagements, with each company contracting directly with the client.

  • Referral program: Partners earn fees for introducing new business to Mercor.

You’ll own both programs, from recruiting partners and structuring deals to building pipeline and closing business.

What you'll do

  • Build relationships with leading consulting firms, systems integrators, and enterprise AI companies.

  • Work with partners to identify opportunities, pitch joint solutions, and win client engagements.

  • Own the joint go-to-market fund and referral program, including partner recruitment, deal registration, approvals, and performance tracking.

  • Work with finance and legal to structure partner incentives, payments, and commercial agreements.

  • Develop the sales materials, training, and tools partners need to sell Mercor’s services.

  • Own partner-sourced pipeline, revenue targets, and forecasting. Prioritize partnerships based on revenue potential and results.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years in partnerships, alliances, or business development, ideally with experience building a partner business from scratch.

  • Track record of generating revenue through consulting or SI partnerships, including co-selling, partner funding, or referral programs.

  • Strong relationships at major consulting firms (MBB, Big Four, Accenture) and an understanding of their business models and commercial incentives.

  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and structuring partner incentives with finance and legal.

  • Experience selling services through partners, not just software.

Nice to have

  • Experience building partnerships at an AI or data company, or within a consulting firm’s technology partnerships team.

  • Experience with cloud co-sell or marketplace programs (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Familiarity with AI agents, evaluations, or model training.
