Summary This position is located in the Bureau of Administration, Global Operations, Logistics Operations Directorate, Office of Secure Logistics, Warehouse Division. The Logistics Operations Directorate provides global logistics support for the people and programs of America's diplomatic community. Responsibilities Ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are effectively communicated to the team and fully integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services. Monitor and report on the status and progression of work. Apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness Ensures warehouse operations remain compliant with regulations and policies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. NOTE: Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements, by the closing date of this announcement. Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing secure logistics materials, including receipt, inspection, storage, maintenance, stock levels, and shipping. Experience advising and assisting on storage and handling requirements. Experience collaborating with customers and vendors to ensure maximum program productivity and efficiency. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-12 position. Education Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement.
