Description We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead high-impact initiatives within the Financial Services industry in South Carolina. This contract position has the potential to become permanent and will guide complex programs across business and technical teams, ensuring priorities are translated into structured delivery plans and measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong executive communication skills, disciplined program governance, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals while managing risk, budget, and implementation readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct full program delivery from initial concept and planning through launch, adoption, and outcome measurement across multiple departments and business units.

  • Convert strategic objectives into coordinated workstreams with defined ownership, timelines, milestones, and success measures.

  • Maintain integrated roadmaps, dependency tracking, and program controls to identify issues early and keep delivery on schedule.

  • Facilitate governance forums, leadership reviews, and escalation paths by presenting clear options, recommendations, and decision points.

  • Prepare executive-facing updates, dashboards, and status materials tailored to both senior leadership and working teams.

  • Partner with compliance, legal, credit risk, finance, operations, and security stakeholders to incorporate regulatory and control requirements into execution plans.

  • Support operational readiness by coordinating training, communication, and adoption activities that help teams embed new processes and capabilities.

  • Monitor budget performance, resource capacity, and external partner deliverables, working with finance and vendors to address variances and maintain scope alignment.

  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional leaders to synchronize interdependent initiatives and improve delivery practices through retrospectives, reusable tools, and automation. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • At least 7 years of program management experience delivering large cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Minimum of 3 years managing multi-team programs with responsibility for budget oversight, executive reporting, and successful launch execution.

  • At least 2 years of experience partnering with Compliance, Risk, or Audit functions within a regulated environment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches in complex project settings.

  • Proficiency with program and project management tools such as Jira and PMO frameworks for planning, tracking, and reporting.

  • Strong ability to manage risks, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively with executive audiences. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
