  • Develop, maintain, and enforce scalable RHEL configuration-management practices, baseline configurations, automation, system hardening standards, and operational procedures.

  • Conduct platform needs assessments, gap analyses, architecture reviews, and capacity evaluations; develop and implement technically sound solutions to improve availability, performance, resiliency, and maintainability.

  • Support enterprise patching, vulnerability management, system monitoring, audit logging, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and continuity-of-operations requirements for RHEL platforms.

  • Serve as a primary technical point of contact for RHEL platform support affecting mission applications and services, coordinating resolution with Application, Database, Network, Enterprise, Cybersecurity, Virtualization, and Field Support teams.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, implementation plans, recovery procedures, automation scripts, and configuration records.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for junior administrators; guide implementation decisions and promote consistent, secure, and supportable RHEL operations across the enterprise.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
