Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a leading financial services and market data organization. This engineer will join a highly visible Operational Tooling team responsible for building and enhancing a strategic platform that manages, monitors, governs, and automates critical business processes. The role offers a blend of frontend and backend development, roughly 60% frontend and 40% backend, leveraging technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Java Spring Boot, Python, AWS, and modern AI development tools. This individual will work directly with business stakeholders and end users to understand complex operational challenges and deliver scalable solutions that support workflow management, governance, reporting, dashboarding, and automation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong communication skills, a high level of ownership, and a passion for using AI to improve development workflows and create business value.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of Full Stack Software Engineering experience Strong frontend development experience with React, Angular, and/or Vue.js (60%) Strong backend development experience with Java Spring Boot and/or Python (40%) Experience building enterprise-scale web applications and user interfaces Experience designing and building scalable APIs, backend services, and integrations AWS cloud development and support experience Experience building business-critical applications such as: Dashboards Workflow platforms Operational tooling Enterprise applications Experience using AI tools in software development (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) Experience leveraging AI for workflow automation, engineering productivity, code reviews, or intelligent tooling Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive projects from requirements through production Experience working directly with business stakeholders and end users Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to challenge assumptions, solve problems, and improve processes Financial Services or Capital Markets experience Workflow-driven application experience Operational tooling or internal platform development Production AI implementation experience LLM integrations AI-powered services and intelligent automation AG-Grid experience Reusable component library experience Micro-frontend architecture GraphQL experience Kafka, MQ, SQS/SNS, or event-driven architecture Cloud-native architecture Legacy modernization experience Experience building highly scalable enterprise platforms Strong UX/UI awareness
