Full job description
FT CLINICAL PHYSICIAN - Mt. View Health Center - Provides direct patient care in conjunction with the Rural Health Clinic (RHC) staff to patients of the RHC. - CP will provide quality care to patients of the clinic by performing appropriate history and physicals, developing appropriate treatment plans and document clearly within the electronic health record. - Counsel and educate patients (and family members) and schedule appropriate follow up. - The Physician will treat patients in line with standards of care. - CP will work in collaboration with RHC Medical Director, Clinic Manager and Advanced Practice Providers (APP). - CP may act as a Supervising or Collaborating physician for clinic APPs. - CP will participate in RHC staff meetings as well as KVHD medical staff activities. Qualifications and Skills - Current licensure as a Physician within the State of California, M.D. or D.O., DEA License, and current BLS certification required. - Possess good oral and written communication skills. - Demonstrates interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution, and facilitates staff development. - Basic computer skills.
