Demand Planning, Advisor (Supply Chain Planning – Austin)

Working in an environment that’s as complex as it is critical, our Materials and Procurement team manages a group of indirect categories, such as real estate, marketing material, supplies or software. We use our in-depth knowledge and experience to develop strategic relationships with external suppliers as well as with key stakeholders. Our role also includes leading contract negotiations, managing risk, driving cost-saving initiatives, and implementing strategic sourcing best practices.

What you’ll achieve:

As a Demand Planning Advisor , you will develop and influence commodity-level demand signals for optics components supporting Dell’s growing AI server business across North America. Working closely with Revenue Operations, Product Group, Procurement and Global Operations teams, you will translate customer and financial requirements into actionable forecasts that optimize product availability, supply readiness and cost. Your insights and leadership will help drive demand stability, improve supply chain performance and support the delivery of next-generation AI & server solutions to customers. Responsibilities

You will:

  • Coordinate product transitions from NPI through product end-of-life.

  • Align demand plans with Operations, Procurement and Revenue Operations teams.

  • Monitor demand consumption and mitigate supply risks.

  • Create performance insights using Power BI and analytics tools.

  • Lead process improvements, automation and AI-driven initiatives.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.

  • 3+ years’ experience in operations, planning, finance or related functions.

  • Strong expertise in demand planning, forecasting and data analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and database analysis tools.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline.

  • Experience with Power BI, AI-enabled analytics or supply chain transformation projects.
