Position Overview
This position is Sunday- Thursday 11:30pm-7:30am.Position Objective:
To assist the Made to Order (MTO) department in the processing of product orders by performing a variety of departmental duties including processing and backstamping of received product, pulling swatches, stocking, labeling and the packing of swatches.
Primary Duties:
Retrieve Print on Demand (POD) labels and pull product from bins for both carpet and hard surface product. Stocking product in bins. Relocating product in bins. Pulling room scenes for orders. Removing dropped styles from inventory. Labeling of swatches as required. Packaging of soft surface product. Assembling of empty boxes for future use.
Other Duties:
Other duties as requested by Lead, Supervisor or management. Will be encouraged to participate in stretching exercises as directed by the supervisor or lead. Ability to learn and understand work orders and be able to perform basic mathematics (for counting swatch inventory).
Preferred Requirements:
Prior knowledge of Shaw inventory styles and colors. Prior knowledge of Shaw systems such as ASAP and Glink.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to walk up and down stairs throughout the day. Must be able to balance on a small step stool/ladder when locating swatches in upper bins. Continuous use of arms and hands. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Must be able to push a loaded buggy down an aisle throughout the day with a push force approximately 17 lbs. Must be able to operate pallet jacks with a push force of approximately 40 lbs.
