Pharmacist -- CVS Pharmacy CVS Pharmacy is seeking licensed, patient-focused Pharmacists to join our pharmacy teams. Pharmacists play a vital role in providing safe and effective medication care, supporting patients' health needs, and leading pharmacy operations while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities: - Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety. - Provide medication counseling and answer patients' questions about prescriptions and medication use. - Identify potential drug interactions, allergies, and other medication-related concerns. - Oversee pharmacy operations and support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. - Supervise, support, and develop pharmacy team members, including Pharmacy Technicians. - Provide immunizations and other authorized clinical services, as applicable. - Collaborate with healthcare providers to support continuity of care and positive patient outcomes. - Manage pharmacy workflow, prescription volume, and patient needs while maintaining safety and service standards. - Protect patient privacy and maintain accurate pharmacy records. - Support inventory management and appropriate handling of medications and pharmacy supplies. Qualifications: - Current, active pharmacist license in the state of employment, in good standing. - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or other qualifying degree accepted for licensure. - Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills. - Ability to lead a team, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to medication safety, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service. - Ability to meet applicable immunization and clinical-service requirements, where applicable. - Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
