Full job description

Business Development Representative (BDR/ B2B) Seattle Based (hybrid, 3 days in Seattle office)

About You You've built a sales motion from a blank page: you wrote the deck, sourced the list, made the calls and beat aggressive goals. We want you to do that here.

Why This Job

  • A product that sells. Partner brands already run on Fulfilled by Crowd Cow. Our fastest full sales cycle was 4 weeks, and our fastest launch went live 2 weeks after signing.
  • A hard problem. Frozen distribution is one of the toughest constraints for high-growth perishable brands. We’ve run cold-chain DTC at scale for a decade.
  • Founding hire. You work directly with our CEO, COO and CTO and shape how and what we sell.

About Fulfilled by Crowd Cow Since 2015, Crowd Cow has sourced meat and seafood from independent farms and fisheries and delivered millions of orders to homes nationwide. We’re changing the way high-quality meat is sourced, discovered and delivered. We’ve built cold-chain fulfillment that works at scale. We’re investing in the success of expanding our fastest growing line of business, Fulfilled by Crowd Cow. Fulfilled by Crowd Cow offers our cold-chain engine to perishable brands as an end-to-end 3PL: procurement, inventory management, fulfillment and customer care, so they can focus on their brand and product. We rebuilt our platform this year to be AI-native. We’ve already done this for partner brands, and it works. You’re joining to scale our momentum. The Role As the founding business development manager for our fastest-growing line of business, you'll partner directly with our CEO, COO and CTO to accelerate selling and commercializing our cold-chain DTC solutions, starting with the perishable brands that need us most.

What You'll Do

  • Find the right brands. Dig into the market to identify frozen and perishable DTC brands that are ready to scale.
  • Own your pipeline. Research target accounts, find the decision-makers and reach them through cold calls, email and networking.
  • Sell. Book qualified meetings with founders and ops leaders at frozen and perishable DTC brands that are ready to scale
  • Build a Repeatable Sales Motion. Refine our pitch, pricing and sales process.

You've Done This Before

  • You have 3–5 years of B2B sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota.
  • We love a first sales hire and someone who thrives in a fast paced start up environment. You’d rather build the process and tools than follow a playbook.
  • Food, CPG, DTC or logistics experience (3PL, freight, cold storage or food brokerage) is a plus

What You'll Get

  • $80-$90K base (commission for qualified meetings with OTE of $120-$130K)
  • Day one: a ranked list of target brands and our leadership’s network for warm intros.
  • Benefits: equity, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), a generous PTO package and quarterly product spend.

How to Apply:Please share your resume and your short response to two questions. A few sentences each is plenty. 1) Tell us about the biggest lead you sourced cold that led to a meeting with a hard to reach decision maker. How did you secure it? 2) What’s a product you love so much you’ve talked friends into buying it?
