Summary
Job Description:
Administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Creates a positive customer service environment.
Assessment and identification of all patient needs
Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service
Maintains Nursing Care Plan
Maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care established by the Registered Nurse Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems
Delegation of nursing care activities to nurse aides as needed
Follow physician orders
QUALIFICATIONS
Current licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required
