Our commitment extends beyond our products. We advocate for better healthcare outcomes, work to break down barriers to care and use science to create greater certainty for patients and providers. At Hologic, advancing women’s health is more than our business. It is our purpose.
We are seeking a Director, Service Commercial Development, to establish and lead a new commercial development function within Global Service. This leader will build the capabilities, systems, analytics and seller enablement needed to accelerate service growth across Hologic’s Breast and Skeletal Health and Diagnostic Solutions businesses.
This is an opportunity to build a function from the ground up and shape how commercial strategy is translated into action. Working across Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Pricing, Legal and Compliance, you will create the tools, insights and operating framework that help sellers identify opportunities, demonstrate customer value and deliver sustainable commercial results.
What You’ll Do
-
Build Commercial Capability: Establish and lead the commercial development function for Global Service, creating the systems, processes and governance needed to accelerate growth.
-
Drive Technology and Transformation: Own the commercial technology roadmap and advance the use of AI, analytics and emerging technologies to improve seller productivity and customer insights.
-
Elevate Seller Effectiveness: Develop scalable training, tools and enablement programs that equip commercial teams to identify opportunities and communicate customer value.
-
Turn Data into Action: Lead commercial analytics across revenue, pipeline, forecasting, pricing and installed-base opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
-
Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Partner across Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, IT and Service Operations to translate commercial strategy into measurable business results.
-
Build and Lead the Team: Develop a high-performing team spanning commercial enablement, systems and analytics while establishing the operating model for this newly formed function.
What We’re Looking For
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an appropriate discipline; advanced degree preferred.
-
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in commercial operations, sales enablement, commercial analytics or a related discipline, primarily within medical technology, biotechnology or life sciences.
-
5+ years of people-leadership experience, including experience building or scaling a function.
-
Demonstrated success building commercial capabilities from the ground up.
-
Experience developing and executing a commercial technology roadmap.
-
Experience evaluating, implementing and driving adoption of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics or other emerging technologies.
-
Strong knowledge of commercial analytics, including pipeline, forecasting, pricing realization and supporting systems.
-
Experience implementing or managing commercial platforms such as CRM, CPQ or field service management systems.
-
Proven ability to influence decisions and direct work across a complex organization without formal authority.
-
Experience working across multiple business segments, regions or commercial models.
-
Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business decisions.
-
Service, aftermarket or recurring-revenue business experience strongly preferred.
