Full job description
Job Description Chariot works in fields with a tremendous need for education: DAF fundraising, gift processing, DAF management. We have a large and fast-growing network of nonprofits and partners, and nobody has filled that gap with a rigorous content approach yet. That's the opening. You'll drive Chariot's content engine: raise the quality of what we publish, grow our footprint, and get more people engaging with it. Leading with education is how we build trust in the brand, and you'll be the one doing it. This is a senior, hands-on IC role, with the expectation that you’ll own both the strategy and the output. Most of this doesn't exist yet, so you'll be building it: the blog, case studies, guides and reports (including our annual DAF Fundraising Report, with our Head of Strategy), the newsletter, and our presence across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube. You'll work alongside our growth lead and PR/events lead, who own distribution, conferences, and press, and you'll have design templates and video editing support. What you'll do:
-
Launch a blog and hold a steady cadence of posts, case studies, guides and reports
-
Write lead-gen assets people actually download and use
-
Build case studies for different customer types so sales can send the right one to the right buyer, leading to faster deal close timelines
-
Own our newsletter and our presence across our LinkedIn, X, and Instagram pages
-
Storyboard and script short videos, with editing support from the team
-
Keep our voice consistent across our multiple brands: Chariot, DAFpay, and DAF Day
-
Treat every piece as an experiment: measure it, learn from it, and adjust
👤 About You
-
5-10 years in content marketing, with real B2B and technical or niche writing behind you
-
Excellent writer and sharp editor. You make jargon-heavy topics clear and worth reading
-
You've learned an unfamiliar industry quickly before
-
Comfortable in design tools (Figma, Canva, or similar): templates, existing assets, getting a piece to look finished
-
You've scripted or storyboarded videos
-
You keep a lot moving at once and hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-
You think about distribution and outcomes, not just the piece
-
Nice to have: email and social channel experience, a track record of novel content ideas, and time spent writing for fintech or philanthropy
-
Not needed: design, growth, SEO, or paid ads expertise, as you’ll have support on these fronts
📚 What you’ll get from Chariot At Chariot, we are building modern, end-to-end payment infrastructure making donors' lives easier, and nonprofits' lives better. $600B gets donated to charity each year in the US and the existing technology/infrastructure was still built for our grandparents generation. Chariot is here to change that.
-
Traction. Annualizing over $1.8B in payment volume through Chariot. Tens of thousands of nonprofits already onboarded including American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and University of Pennsylvania.
-
Impact: That money services nonprofits working in homelessness, health, education, the environment, and so much more.
-
Market opportunity: Billion dollar revenue opportunity. Fintech company operating in an untapped $600B market
-
The Team. >30% of Charioteers are former founders. NYC office, in-person Monday through Thursday, WFH Friday. The public handbook shows how we operate.

-
