This is just one of the many perks you have to look forward to How will you contribute Candidates will be responsible for shipping and receiving the product, staging materials, selecting materials, and picking up parts. Prior experience working in a shipping/receiving setting or warehouse is a plus. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement, specifically Local 400. This is a full-time first-shift position, typically working four 10-hour days M-TH, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed. Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or its equivalent. This job entails a great deal of lifting and climbing. Successful candidates must be self-starters, have a mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment both indoors and outdoors. Dependability and working well as a member of the team are essential. Previous experience working with plumbing components is preferred, but not required. What you need to qualify: Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and crouch throughout their shift. Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work independently in a team environment. You can stand out from other candidates by having a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform duties safely and effectively in a fast-paced work environment that is loud at times.
