Description We are looking for an experienced Account Supervisor/Director to lead a high-performing client services team supporting major retail marketing initiatives in Atlanta, Georgia. This role combines senior relationship management, strategic oversight, and operational leadership to help deliver integrated campaigns across print, digital, in-store, and omnichannel environments. The ideal candidate brings strong agency leadership experience, a deep understanding of retail marketing, and the ability to guide teams and clients through fast-moving priorities with confidence and clarity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop an embedded account team, creating a focused, accountable environment where collaboration, resilience, and high-quality execution can thrive.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior client stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor who contributes strategic perspective beyond day-to-day project delivery.

  • Align internal agency objectives with the client’s culture and business priorities to strengthen team engagement, continuity, and long-term success.

  • Shape omnichannel marketing programs that connect in-store experiences with digital channels, retail media opportunities, and personalized customer engagement strategies.

  • Turn shifting business conditions, seasonal demands, and operational challenges into actionable marketing solutions that support brand growth and commercial results.

  • Introduce and refine modern workflows, including emerging creative technologies and AI-supported production approaches, to improve speed, scale, and effectiveness.

  • Provide steady leadership during high-pressure situations, helping cross-functional teams stay organized, responsive, and solutions-focused.

  • Manage scope, resources, and account health through clear communication and value-based decision-making that supports both client goals and team capacity.

  • Ensure marketing concepts are practical for retail execution by balancing creative ambition with merchant needs, production realities, and in-store usability.

  • Oversee complex print and promotional deliverables within high-volume retail environments, ensuring quality, consistency, and operational readiness. Requirements • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in agency account management, retail marketing, or closely related client service environments.

  • Demonstrated success leading large enterprise accounts, ideally at the Account Director, Group Account Director, or Client Partner level.

  • Experience managing embedded or on-site agency teams working closely with client headquarters or senior business leaders.

  • Strong background delivering integrated retail campaigns across in-store marketing, digital channels, e-commerce, social media, and retail media networks.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams that may include creative, project management, operations, and strategy professionals across on-site and remote settings.

  • Familiarity with merchant-driven retail environments, complex product assortments, and high-volume promotional planning.

  • Working knowledge of print production and execution within fast-paced publishing, retail, or branded marketing environments.

  • Expertise in account management, strategic planning, client partnership development, and executive-level communication. Innovation starts with people.®
