Full job description

ABOUT AGORA

At Agora, our mission is to transform how money moves. We believe stablecoins will underpin a new financial fabric, one that is faster, more global, and more efficient than today's siloed systems. That is why we are building AUSD and the Agora stack, a full-service platform that makes issuing, managing, and integrating stablecoins seamless, whether you're a developer, fintech, or institution. With AUSD, stablecoins become programmable, composable, and ubiquitous by default.

We believe digital dollars should be a public good: trusted, accessible, and built for real-world utility. Our mission is to drive adoption through customizable, user-friendly on-ramps that make stable, dollar-based value available onchain.

We're backed by world-class investors including Paradigm and Dragonfly, and we're growing a team to reimagine how value moves online.

We're intentional about who we bring on. If you're passionate about stablecoins and want to help create more open, intuitive ways for people to engage with money, let's talk.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We bring the discipline of high-performance finance teams and the creativity of a fast-moving crypto-native startup. We're a small, mission-driven group of builders who move fast, sweat the details, and hold a high bar for excellence, in product, code, and culture.

You'll be joining a tight-knit team that values clear thinking, extreme ownership, and high-velocity decision making. We operate in short feedback loops, support one another without ego, and are deeply motivated by the opportunity to build foundational infrastructure for the future of money.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to own a core area of Agora's platform, from product strategy through execution and measurable customer outcomes. You'll identify the problems worth solving, set the roadmap, and align the team around clear priorities. You'll also stay close to the work: specs, making tradeoffs with engineering and design, and learning from how customers use what you ship.

Agora's customers are developers, fintechs, and institutions integrating AUSD and the Agora platform into their stack. Your job is to understand what they're trying to accomplish, find the gaps between what the product offers and what they need, and decide which opportunities matter most. That means talking to customers directly, going deep on API design or settlement flows, and partnering with BD on strategic accounts. You'll use those conversations to distinguish one customer's request from a broader product need and build solutions that scale.

You'll bring structure to ambiguous problems and make decisions that balance customer experience, technical complexity, commercial opportunity, and operational requirements. You'll work across engineering, design, BD, and compliance to move those decisions forward, and help raise the bar for how Agora discovers, builds, and measures products.

In a typical week, you might refine your product strategy, run research calls with prospects and active customers, query usage data to find where integrations stall, define success metrics for an upcoming launch, work through a strategic account's requirements with BD, or write a spec and ship it with engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in product management, with meaningful experience in stablecoins, payments, or fintech.
  • End-to-end product ownership. You've set strategy and led a significant product area from discovery through launch and iteration, with measurable customer and business outcomes.
  • Strong product judgment. You turn ambiguous customer needs into a clear roadmap, make difficult prioritization decisions, and explain what you're choosing to build and why.
  • Serious UX craft. You can tell the difference between a flow that works and a flow that feels good, and you make complex financial and technical workflows intuitive.
  • High autonomy. You go from “something feels off here” to a shipped solution, bringing the right people along and writing the specs and updates that move decisions forward.
  • Strong analytical instincts. You pull your own data, define success metrics, and use them to prioritize. You've instrumented a funnel, found a drop-off, and moved the number, and you can explain exactly what you did.
  • Comfort with technical and API-driven products. You can reason about API design, integration patterns, and settlement flows, and partner credibly with engineers on infrastructure tradeoffs.
  • Cross-functional leadership. You've aligned teams around consequential product decisions, resolved competing priorities, and partnered with commercial teams without losing sight of the broader product strategy.
  • AI fluency. You build with modern AI tools, including prototypes, evals, and internal automations, and have a sharp, opinionated view on where they help and where they don't.

Agora operates a centralized USD‑pegged stablecoin platform with robust compliance, security, and governance. We are equally committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
