3RD SHIFT: MAINTENANCE TECH, $28-$38

3RD SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN: ($28.00 - $38.00/HR) Mauser Packaging Solutions - Leominster, MA. Join a team focused on innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement in packaging solutions. Position Overview: Work with the Maintenance Manager to perform building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and fulfillment of work orders on a 3rd shift schedule. Maintain inventory, housekeeping, and compliance with safety and environmental standards while working independently and communicating effectively with the team. Key Responsibilities: -Work with little to no supervision to complete assigned tasks and unforeseen repairs -Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine parts -Troubleshoot and repair slitters, collectors, high-speed welders, conveyors, palletizers, and related equipment -Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; repair gauges, valves, and regulators -Perform building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep -Address electrical issues as they arise -Use CMMS to log labor and parts and manage PMs -Participate in on-call rotation and work overtime/weekend/off-shift as required -Oversee and distribute work orders; help prioritize and audit PM completion -Update TPM board and audit LOTO procedures as required -Follow PPE, quality, and safety policies and procedures Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in maintenance-related field preferred -Minimum 2 years maintenance mechanic experience in a metal or related manufacturing environment preferred -Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and ISO9001 standards for plastics manufacturing preferred -PLC experience preferred -Experience with welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools preferred -Experience in high-speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission preferred Physical Requirements: -Frequent walking and standing; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling -Occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs -Required vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment -Exposure to moving mechanical parts and noisy environments; PPE and hearing protection required What We Offer: -Competitive hourly pay ($28-38/hr) -Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, paid time off, and other competitive benefits -Career growth opportunities within an innovative, sustainability-focused company -Equal Opportunity Employer Location / Schedule: Leominster, MA - 3rd shift (schedule per posting); participation in on-call program required.
