Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist of MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties

  • You will establish the long-term strategic direction for assigned logistics functional programs, providing comprehensive guidance to senior executive leaders and military command teams across the entire United States Marine Corps.
  • You will acquire and maintain essential resources, tools, and training opportunities to support the life-cycle logistics workforce throughout the Marine Corps Systems Command in fulfilling their primary operational missions.
  • You will represent the Marine Corps Systems Command on Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and service-level working groups to address critical initiatives impacting your designated logistics functional area.
  • You will plan daily work assignments for subordinates, establish project deadlines, evaluate individual job performance, and identify ongoing professional development opportunities to improve overall production quality.
  • You will interview job applicants for division vacancies, execute hiring actions for qualified candidates, develop formal position descriptions, and establish comprehensive standard operating procedures for the branch.
  • You will resolve employee workplace conflicts constructively, protect individual privacy, and actively promote equal employment opportunity principles to maintain positive morale and organizational climate across the division.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Knowledge of Product Support Management and its relationship to the Systems Engineering Process as executed in the DOD Acquisition Management Framework. 2. Ability to lead, develop, implement, and manage organizational and strategic plans in the defense acquisition environment at multiple organizational levels. 3. Experience in leading, participating, coaching, and facilitating activities at the individual, functional, cross functional levels and on multi organizational integrated teams. 4. Experience developing organizational or functional presentations, both orally and in writing.
